Boys Tournament June 17 – Rain Date – some Age Groups will be played indoors on Sat. June 17 -rest on Sunday June 18
Format: All Teams guaranteed 3 Games
Referees are Paid prior to each Game – $35 per Team per game.
Teams Must be available to Play 3 Games on Saturday – Games could be AM – Afternoon or PM
We WILL NOT GUARANTEE a Schedule that will allow the Same Coach to Multiple Teams at the Same Time.
All Teams GUARANTEE to Play All 3 Pool Games or pay a $70 Fee if they Leave Early for Any Reason
Only Teams that play all 3 Pool games will be considered for Pool Championship T-Shirts (Unless Your Team receives a Forfeit Win)
Hoop Splash may combine Grade Groups if necessary in all Divisions with an odd number of teams Teams.
Each Team will play 3 Scheduled Games Saturday
In the Event of Rain Games could be made up either Saturday or Sunday
In the Event of both days are Rained Out – We do have Sunday June 19 available as make-up date, providing we have enough teams available to play.
Once the Tournament begins Play – No Refunds – In the Event that No Games are played, and your Team is unavailable for June 19 – Refund Policy 50% of Entry fee Per Team.
Boys’ Divisional Play and Girls’ Divisional Play
4 or 6 Team Pool – Round Robin Play – Team with Best Record will be declared Pool Champion – in case of Tie we will implement the Tiebreakers below.

BOYS & GIRLS DIVISIONS
You may need to go to: http://itournamentbrackets.com/index.aspx – then go to New Jersey then to Your Team’s 2022 Hoop Splash Age Group and Print yourself a Bracket or Pool Schedule Sheet sheet – All Brackets should be checked & printed by 5:00PM Friday June 3rd – just in case we have last minute change due a Team dropping out – however we may be Updating the Brackets as needed during the Tournament (Just in case a team drops out).
YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR OWN BRACKET SHEET BEFORE YOU PLAY YOUR FIRST GAME – SO YOU WILL KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING –
Hoop Splash Rules
Games Length – Two – 20 Minute Half’s ( 2 minute break at the Half)
Running Clock – clock stops for all whistles in last minute of each half. (Unless a team is losing by 15 points or more)
Time Outs: Three Per Game
6 Fouls per player to foul out (Note: if a player fouls out and there is no sub available Player remains in the game and on each subsequent Foul Team gets a Two Shot Technical and possession of the Ball.
No Full Court Pressing in 2nd /3rd & 4th Grade Divisions
No Full Court Pressing with a 15 Point Lead in Rest of Divisions
First Violation of Full Court Press Rule – Warning to Coach – 2nd Violation 2 Shot Bench Tech & Possession.
Bonus: 2 Foul Shots starting on the 10th Foul of each Half. However Teams will shoot 2 Foul Shots on the 2nd Foul in the Last Minute of the Half or Game.
Coach or Bench Technical Foul will result in 2 shots plus possession of the ball.
If a player, coach or spectator is ejected from a game – he/she is out of the Tournament
Overtime
We will be Playing a variation of the TBT $2 Million Dollar Tournament Elam Rule
Scoreboard will be set to 0-0 – Clock Turned Off:
Third, Fourth , Fifth & Sixth Grade Divisions – SUDDEN DEATH – 1st Team to Score WINS!
Seventh, Eighth & High School – First Team to Score 3 Points WINS!
First Team to Score 3 Points WINS!!!
Each Team will be allotted 1 Time Out in Overtime
In Overtime Teams will shoot 2 Foul Shots on the 2nd Team Foul in OT.
